The Rownetic Microgenerator is a portable energy-harvesting device designed to attach to a Concept2 RowErg and convert rowing motion into usable electrical energy. During exercise, the movement of the rowing chain engages with an internal sprocket system, converting linear pulling motion into rotational energy. This rotation is transferred through a shaft and gear mechanism to drive a compact permanent magnet generator.
