Today is a big day for Made in Brunel. Our show opens at Bargehouse, SE1 with doors open from 11.30. This vast, untouched four storey building has been transformed into a hub of design and engineering talent, and will be home to talks, forums of discussion and hundreds of exhibits until Sunday. With the start of the show comes the launch of our book, ‘The Colour of Innovation’, a tangible showcase of the work on show over the next four days and an object of beauty; pick up your copy at the show.
Finally, the web team are pleased to announce the opening of the Projects and People sections of our site: a directory of over 250 projects and their creators. We invite you to explore the wealth of extraordinary creativity and skill that lies in these pages and get a feel for the exhibits.
Special thanks go to Daniela Albano, Fiona Cullen, Ed Day, Turgay Hassan, Calum Ryan, Khaled Shaaban, Eleanor Shakespeare, Gilbert Townshend and Sarah Yu for their invaluable help in building the online directory.

Hugely impressed by the standard of the show, the students, the website and the book. Each aspect is a credit both to the individuals involved and to Brunel University. Well done indeed – you have every reason to be proud!
